Hey Julianna, thanks for this post. I've subscribed as I would love to live in London vicariously through you. I lived in Brighton while I was doing my masters at Sussex University back in 2007 to 2008 and I used to make frequent trips into London for work. It was my absolute favorite city in the entire world. So charming. What I wouldn't give to have a stroll along the Thames... Albeit maybe in warmer weather!
By the way, thanks for sharing your end of year wrap up and intention setting exercise for 2025. I love the idea of going through your camera roll, what a great way to remember the highlights of the year, and also get your media organized at the same time! And I'm totally on the same page with you about setting new habits rather than goals and resolutions. That feels very much like the vibe right now.
Looking forward to reading more from you about your London adventures!
Hi Kaila! Appreciate your kind words and thoughtful comment.
I love taking day trips to Brighton in the summer. One thing I miss most living in London and coming from Boston is being right by the ocean. The Thames does help with that though! Strolling around London on a warm, sunny day is just the best - I'm longing for those days with how gray it has been lately.
I saw that you are moving to Valencia soon, what inspired your move?
Thank you, Emily! I appreciate you taking the time to read this. There's still so much to do here in January, I'm learning to enjoy the cooler days for what they are but am also really looking to going to the Southern hemisphere next week :)
Julianna, this line "Real life in all its beautiful messiness (as a multi-hyphenate 30-something)" made me want to subscribe immediately! Fellow multi-hyphenate 30-something here👋🏻I am also super interested in your experience of living abroad as I myself have lived abroad many times in my life.
Thank you so much Katharina - for the kind words and the subscription! 🙏🏻 I’m so happy we’ve been able to connect here. ‘Into Many Things’ speaks to me on a visceral level and I look forward to reading what you share, too!
Beautifully written by a beautiful soul. You are closer and more in tune with yourself than you probably realize. The intentions in the post and the intention of putting together shows that! Love you! ❤️🫶
Love your list of markets, maltby street is one I’d add, it’s great!
Thank you, Lucy! Do you have any favorite spots there? I haven't been in such a long time!
